What the Law Says
The patient has to prove that the clinical practitioner has been negligent AND that the negligence has caused the harm or detriment. It is often the case in law that blame on the part of the practitioner can be proven, but it can be much more difficult to prove that the negligence caused an injury or a worsening of the patient’s condition.
