Laura Wishart

Laura qualified as a Solicitor in 1994 and has nearly 20 years experience acting for buyers and sellers in residential conveyancing transactions, both freehold and leasehold, including right to buy properties, retirements properties and shared ownership properties.

Laura is also very experienced in dealing with all aspects of Wills, Probate and Administration of Estates work and in particular is able to advise upon the following matters:-

• Will drafting.

• Inheritance tax advice and planning, including the preparation of nil rate band discretionary Will Trusts for estate values of up to one million pounds.

• Managing Trusts and acting as a professional trustee, with trust values varying from £60,000.00 to £250,000.00.

• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney, drafting the same and registering with the Office of the Public Guardian.

• Advising on and making applications for Deputyship Orders.

• Advising personal representatives following death and making application for Grant of Representation.

• Completing all necessary paperwork to effectively complete the administration of an estate. 

• Estate values of up to one million pounds.
  
  

Home visits will be arranged for those clients unable to get to the office.

Laura is also very experienced in dealing with all legal aspects of Equity Release Mortgages.
