Geraint has over 25 years post qualification experience as a crime specialist. In 2001 he attained the Higher Court's Advocate qualification granting him rights of audience in the Crown Court.

In addition, Geraint is a member of the Test Board of the Professional Development Unit of the Cardiff Law School where he trains and assesses candidates wishing to attain the Police Station Accreditation and Magistrates Court Duty Solicitor qualification.
